About Us

TSIG is the peak industry body representing the entire seed production industry in Tasmania. It is a not-for-profit, incorporated, industry body that represents the interests of the Tasmanian seed industry, from growers to agronomists, seed companies, seed testing, government and researchers. TSIG is run by the industry, for the industry.

Four priority areas have been identified to help advance industry:

Improved production systems: Improving the profitability of seed production systems will support the ongoing growth and development of the Tasmanian seed industry.

Seed quality: Maintaining and improving the quality and hygiene of seed produced in Tasmania.

Connection and communication: Facilitating positive collaboration and relationships between all stakeholders and the wider community.

Resilience and sustainability: Promoting practices that increase the resilience and sustainability of the Tasmanian seed industry.
